Our process

We Manage Expectations

Understanding your needs and expectations is the most important part of our job as your home builder, we’ll spend the time needed to work with you in outlining your exact vision. Having clear lines of communication prior to, during and after the project will keep the process running smoothly.

Pre-build Discussions

We’ll discuss all of the requirements needed to get the project started. Including who’ll be doing each piece of the job. We’ll make sure that you are on top of the financial aspects of the buildout. We’ll talk about what our insurance covers, and we’ll review the scheduling of the different phases of construction.

Preliminary Estimate

We can then start gathering information to help build a comprehensive estimate that will include input from subcontractors, suppliers and involved parties. We will thoroughly review the plans and specifications of the project. We can also discuss added value items, or if need be, cost reduction opportunities. Once a line item list has been created and construction plan is in place, we will develop a schedule for payment and billing.

Construction Schedule

With a set of server-evolving needs and deliverables, it is important to have a construction schedule that can be updated as the project is completed. We stay on top of all items within this schedule including subs, materials, permitting and any unforeseen delays.

Keeping You Informed

Keeping you up to date with the progress of the project is very important to us. We can avoid many costly mistakes by keeping you and our subcontractors abreast with how the milestones are being met. Since we’re on site all of the time, we are constantly communicating with every involved party and see that everyone’s needs and expectations are met.

Onsite Visits

This is your project too and we encourage your involvement. We understand how much it means to get things done right and on time, so we can schedule as many onsite visits as needed so we can make sure that you are seeing progress first hand.

Change Orders

In the event that there are additions or changes to the project, we make sure they are tracked and approved with official change orders. This avoids any unexpected cost increases or delays from becoming an issue. And it also put you in charge of the decisions that impact timelines or budgets.

Walkthroughs

Once we see that everything has been completed and all of the inspections have passed, the dust vacuumed away, floors swept and all of the house is in tip-top shape… We’ll schedule the final walkthrough. We take the time to make sure you are satisfied with our work, fix anything that might be an issue and when it’s all done… Hand you the keys.
